TRON Lightcycle by Brian Carter

Mod of the Year Page: Here

In a dramatic departure from his usual target of awesome mods, Brian recently turned his skills to scratchbuilds using an interesting kind of stacked acrylic method of creating a striking style of case. Sporting a trio of Crucial SSDs as an illuminated engine core, the bike epitomises some of the best aspects of the film that was its inspiration - great graphics and funky lighting. Its super-clean, futuristic looks saw it plastered all over the Internet at the turn of the year.

Since then, Brian has returned to mods and has completed several this year. You can check out some of his work here or by searching under his forum name, boddaker, in our project log forum.

That's it for our latest look at the Mod Gods. We hope you enjoyed our look back at some of the best projects we've seen on bit-tech and elsewhere, and we'll be back in a few weeks with more amazing projects. Until then, if you've spotted anything we've missed, feel free to email us at modding@bit-tech.net.
